GPOY on Story Due Date Day.
EDIT: GPOY as you realize you turned in a 20 page story with (though not limited to) grammatical errors on EVERY PAGE. This is what happens when the 3am urge to rewrite whole chunks of a story hits, especially when you’ve been using Open Office and switching between that and text edit.
Absolutely done with Open Office, gonna have to ask for Microsoft products for my birthday
Was workshopped tonight! I think it went well and was very informative, but I think it is safe to say my heart just isn’t in the short story art form. Subtraction is hard.

I hated my freshman writing composition class, I hate learning how to teach freshman comp by partaking in what is basically meta-freshman comp, and I hate reading academic articles.
I’m 113 words off of the 750 word minimum for this essay exercise, but as this is meta-freshman comp I just changed the font to Verdana and added extra spacing between paragraphs. I thought about putting the punctuation in 14 pt font, but that seems a tad advanced for freshman comp.
Today’s rant is sponsored by the Elbow-Bartholomae Debate.
But then as soon as class is over I’m stuck going, “Holy Fuckerroos, how am I ever going to get all this done?”
^ this is the subtext of the story i’m turning in tonight
